It also requires a balance of fats, carbohydrates, and proteins for energy support without resulting in excessive weight gain. With access to so many different foods a healthy diet is possible for even the most fussy among us.
There is an overwhelming amount of nutrition information available often accompanied with wild claims making a healthy diet more complicated than it needs to be. I firmly believe that deprivation and fad diets can never work when you are trying to make a change to your eating habits.
